Returns the text after a separator.
In German Excel: TEXTNACH
How to write it
=TEXTAFTER(text, delimiter, [instance_num])- text
- The text to cut.
- delimiter
- The separator, like "@" or "-".
- instance_num
- Optional. Which separator; -1 is the last one.
💡 TEXTAFTER(A2,"-",-1) gives everything after the last dash.
Try it
Get the domain of Tom’s email: everything after the @.
